What Sets These Programmes Apart

Designed around the reading habits and conversational pace that work best for adults in their forties and beyond.

Reading-First Structure

Materials are sent before each session. Participants arrive having read, making discussion richer and more personal.

Small, Consistent Cohorts

Sessions run with ten to twelve participants. The same group meets throughout, building depth and familiarity over time.

No Product Recommendations

Maranth does not sell financial products or refer participants to any service provider. The space is purely educational.

A Considered Pace

Programmes are not compressed. The reading, reflection, and discussion structure allows time to sit with ideas before the next session.

Singapore-Context Materials

Sample documents, terminology, and frameworks are drawn from the Singapore household context — CPF, MAS-regulated structures, and local documentation standards.

Discussion-Led Learning

Facilitators guide conversation rather than deliver lectures. The knowledge within the cohort itself is treated as part of the learning resource.

Would One of These Programmes Suit You?

If you are in your forties or beyond and would find value in a structured reading approach to household finance, we would be glad to hear from you. Cohort places are limited and filled by enquiry.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are these programmes designed for?

All Maranth programmes are structured around adults aged 40 and above. The reading materials, discussion prompts, and document examples are chosen with the life stage and professional background of this age group in mind. A number of participants are in their late forties or fifties, managing household finances at a more complex stage of life.

Are these programmes a form of financial advice?

No. Maranth does not hold a financial advisory licence and does not offer regulated financial advice, investment guidance, or product recommendations of any kind. The programmes are purely educational — focused on reading comprehension, vocabulary, and the structure of common household financial documents. Participants seeking personal financial guidance should consult a MAS-licensed adviser.

Where do the sessions take place?

Sessions are held at our premises at 6 Battery Road in the Raffles Place district of Singapore, and occasionally at partner venues in the Central Business District. The location and room details are shared with enrolled participants in advance. The environment is quiet, well-lit, and arranged around a discussion table rather than a lecture setup.

How do I secure a place in a cohort?

Places are allocated by enquiry. You may reach us through the form on this page, by telephone, or by email. We will follow up to discuss the programme, cohort timing, and whether the reading approach is a comfortable fit for you. No commitment is required at the enquiry stage.

What does the programme fee cover?

The programme fee covers all sessions within the programme, the physical materials provided (binder, glossary cards, notebooks where applicable), facilitation, and use of the session space. There are no additional charges for the reading packs or reference materials distributed during the programme.

What is the cancellation and withdrawal policy?

Participants who notify us at least fourteen days before the first session may transfer to a future cohort at no additional charge. Withdrawals within fourteen days of commencement are handled on a case-by-case basis. Full terms are provided at enrolment and can be requested in advance of any commitment.
